Say how you feel, get music back: AI mood to discovery
Describing a mood in your own words is a better starting point than scrolling endless rows.
Most discovery starts with the wrong question
Music apps usually ask you to pick a genre, a playlist or a chart position. But people rarely think that way. They think: I want something slow for a long drive home, or I need energy for the last twenty minutes of a workout.
FreeQue’s mood to discovery feature starts from that sentence instead. You describe the mood, the moment or the listening goal in plain language, and FreeQue reads it the way a friend behind the decks would.
A reason attached to every pick
Each suggestion comes back with a short, readable explanation of why it fits what you asked for. No black box, no mysterious ranking — if a pick does not make sense to you, you can see the reasoning and ask again differently.
That transparency matters more than cleverness. A recommendation you understand is one you can argue with, refine and trust.
Honest about what it draws from
Today the picks come from FreeQue’s own sample catalogue, and they are clearly labelled as samples because nothing streams yet. No listener numbers are implied and no artist is presented as more popular than they are.
As real catalogue and real listening arrive, the same interface deepens: your fingerprint, your moods and your history shape the answer, without changing the promise that every pick explains itself.
