Vinyl Scanner: bring your record shelf into your FreeQue
Scan a vinyl record, discover an artist playlist and choose what joins your digital music library.
A record can open another listening path
A record discovered in a shop, borrowed from a friend or kept on your shelf can lead to more of an artist's music. Vinyl Scanner is FreeQue's planned bridge between that physical discovery and your digital library.
Take or upload a photo of the cover or label, confirm the artist and release, then pick an available artist playlist to save to your FreeQue. You choose what gets added rather than accepting an automatic match.
Recognition is not permission to stream
Different pressings and similar artwork can make a record hard to identify. Uncertain matches should be shown for confirmation, not silently saved as the wrong album or artist.
Vinyl Scanner now reads record photos and lets signed-in listeners save a matching artist playlist to Library. Matching is limited to published FreeQue recordings; barcode database lookup and external streaming imports are not connected. Scanning does not copy audio from a record or grant streaming rights.
