Music fans take pride in spotting talent before the wider world arrives. Today that memory is usually impossible to prove. FreeQue’s discovery record would timestamp the first genuine listen to an artist.
If that artist later grows, the listener’s early support remains visible in their Passport. The result is not ownership over the artist; it is recognition for curiosity and attention.
Trust depends on an uneditable past
The first-listen timestamp cannot be rewritten after success arrives. No discovery can be backdated, imported as an achievement or purchased. Those constraints protect the meaning of being early.
This system starts only with real listening. Until FreeQue’s streaming history is active, nobody receives a discovery record and no early status is implied.
