What people play in one neighbourhood can differ sharply from the next. Around Me is designed to reveal the aggregated sound of an area: tracks gaining ground, local artists moving and scenes becoming active.
For listeners, that can make discovery feel connected to real life. For artists, it can reveal where a genuine audience is forming without exposing who each listener is.
If the crowd is too small, show nothing
Location is always opt-in. FreeQue would work with broad areas rather than person-level trails, suppressing results whenever too few listeners contribute to a safe aggregate.
No location listening data is collected today. The feature will remain under construction until those privacy thresholds can be enforced by the system rather than promised only in interface copy.
